In Cleveland you will have access to the infamous Playhouse Square Center, the second largest performing arts center in the United States. The Playhouse Square includes State, Palace, Allen, Hanna, and Ohio theaters within the Theater District of Downtown Cleveland. The performing arts that take place on this stage include the Cleveland Opera, the Ohio Ballet, Broadway musicals, and the Great Lakes Theater Festival.

There are two main art museums, The Cleveland Museum of Art, with more than 40,000 works of art ranging over 6,000 years, it contains pieces from ancient art to modern contemporary; and the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland. While this particular museum does not maintain a permanent collection, it chooses to showcase established and emerging artists through hosting and producing temporary exhibits.
